Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using hindsight, the customer agrees to these Terms. If an individual accepts these Terms on behalf of an organization, that individual represents that they have authority to bind the organization.

Service

hindsight provides business software for capturing organizational decisions, goals, departments, analysis, and related operating workflows. Laos Holdings, LLC may update, improve, or modify the service from time to time.

Customer Accounts and Responsibility

Customers are responsible for authorized access to their accounts, their users' compliance with these Terms, the legality of customer content, and maintaining reasonable security over credentials and internal access permissions.

Customer Data

Customer data remains owned by the customer. The customer grants Laos Holdings, LLC a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display customer data only as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service and to comply with applicable law.

AI Services

Certain features may use third-party AI services. By using those features, the customer instructs hindsight to transmit the relevant prompts, content, and context necessary to generate the requested response. The customer is responsible for deciding what information is submitted through AI-enabled workflows.

hindsight is intended to use AI services that do not train their models on customer inputs or outputs and do not retain submitted context for model training. AI outputs may still be inaccurate or incomplete, and the customer remains responsible for review and use of any generated content.

Fees and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed under the pricing and plan terms presented at purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Acceptable Use

Customers may not use the service in violation of law, to infringe rights, to transmit malicious code, to attempt unauthorized access, or to interfere with service operation or security. Laos Holdings, LLC may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security concerns, or legal risk.

Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information from the other. Each party agrees to use the other party's confidential information only for purposes of the relationship and to protect it using reasonable care.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis except as expressly stated otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laos Holdings, LLC disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data.

Termination

Either party may terminate use of the service consistent with the applicable subscription terms. Upon termination, access may be suspended or ended and customer data may be deleted in accordance with our retention practices and legal obligations.
