hindsight is a business software platform for recording decisions, goals, departments, and related operating context. We collect and process information to provide the service, secure accounts, support customers, and improve product reliability.

Information We Process

We may process account registration details, user profile information, billing and subscription details, usage metadata, support communications, and customer content entered into the platform, including decisions, goals, departments, reports, and other workspace data.

Customer Data Ownership

Customer content and workspace data remain owned by the customer. Laos Holdings, LLC does not claim ownership of customer data submitted to hindsight. We process that data only to provide the service, maintain security, comply with law, and perform related business operations described in this policy and the Terms of Service.

AI Features

When a customer uses AI-powered features, the customer directs hindsight to send relevant workspace context to a third-party AI service provider in order to generate a response. By using those features, the customer consents to that sharing for the limited purpose of providing the requested output.

hindsight is intended to use AI services that do not train or improve their underlying models on customer prompts, inputs, or outputs. Customer context sent for AI processing is intended to be processed ephemerally for inference and not retained for model training.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate and secure the platform, authenticate users, provide support, process payments, communicate about the service, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, service monitoring, and business planning.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us run the platform, including infrastructure, analytics, authentication, payment, communications, and AI service vendors. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet contractual commitments, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices

Customers may update account information through the service and may request deletion or export of customer data, subject to legal, technical, and contractual limitations. Organizations are responsible for managing their end users and authorized use of the platform.
